Is this really a Barred Plymouth Rock Pullet?

TXlacy--the white spot on the head means the bird is barred. I personally think it looks like a pullet, she just won't have nice clear barring. I have some hatchery barred rock hens who have very poor barring, very dark and muddy looking, but they're still great layers and that's all I want from them.

Well I'm crossing my fingers for a Pullet, because I can't keep Roo's and I know one of my other batches of chicks that I got from a lady giving them away outside a store is a Roo, 3 weeks and already bright red comb and starting to get wattles coming in. My BR rescued chick is black, not really a grey color, and has way more black then white. The Roos that I have seen are much lighter in color, and have way more white that is more barring then mine. But only time will tell I guess.

The legs are pretty much black on the front, the back of the legs are like white washed with black and some yellow. I also have another 3 week old BR that we got from a Preschool hatching, and I was nervous about that one being a roo, because the white dot was bigger then this first one, but its feathering in like the first, does have black wash on the legs as well. So here's to hoping.
