Is this really a Buff Orp?

That seriously looks like one of the chicks I just got that was labeled as a Starlight Green Eggers, but they were mixed in with Calico Princess. If you get green eggs, I guess you'll know!
After looking online for a while you are right, Starlight green egger!! There’s a thread on BYC from 2022 that has lots of photos- I’m now convinced that’s what they are.

Thx for the input!!

Unfortunately, that means the chances of her going broody is very low. My hubby says the best for broodiness in his experience are Black Australorps, but he might be biased!😂🤣

I really didn’t want any-eggers but now that’s what I have. Any female I will keep- males, nope. They will go in my Marans coop so maybe I’ll experiment and get some Olive eggers.
Hoping out of 5 Marans one fem will go broody-

Lol, should probably quit chick shopping at TSC then.
Especially if you were wanting a broody. That chick may just be a male.
Not a buff…. Rural King does the same thing. Most of these places have people that have no clue what is what, they just tell you what they think and then you’re on your own. I was sold a “black welsummer” that recently just found out that she’s actually a Maran. (A year and some change later) It’s aggrivating. The chicks are still cute though! But BO are awesome birds, if you don’t have any, try again! Great birds to add to existing flock. They’re so sweet.
