Is this really a jersey giant?

She has yellow skin with a dark wash. If you picked her up to check the color of the bottoms of her feet, they will be yellow. Marans have white skin.

They are pretty large! If you look at the pic of them with other birds from the flock they are the largest. I have arrows pointing the two out.

And this ones combs isn't very big yet so I'm assuming it still has growing to do.

yeah I understand - I keep copper marans and they are much bigger than my others - obviously not as big as a Jersey Giant - you could I guess have a mix of a jersey giant... but not a full breed... I have had both breeds from show winning lines... Honestly from observation I think French Copper Marans - either way beautiful birds -

Thank you! I googled that breed and I think your right! They resemble the black sex link but I honestly didn't think that's what they were but we only have baby sex links so it's hard to compare. I think they are they are French copper marans!

They are our most friendly birds. They walk straight up to us and don't mind being picked up or petted. We only have had chickens for a month now. They are big and HEAVY! I'd like to weigh them.
