Is this really a silkie??

Hello everyone!
This little chick I got is about 6 weeks old. It was supposed to be a silkie, but it’s looking more like a regular chicken with a funny hairdo. Thoughts?? It has five toes, feathers on them… I’ll post a pic from when I first got it to now.

Five toes are a silkie trait. Mixed silkies sometimes acquire smooth feathers.

Smooth feathers are dominant. One of the parents was very likely smooth feathered.

I have a black with feathers just like yours. I was told it was a satin silkie.
