Is this Rhode island red a male? |*PICS*|

We ordered chicks from Murray McMurray last month, 15 buff silkie bantams, 10 blue silkie bantams, 25 white leghorns, 25 rhode island reds.

I have been watching the reds and noticed one had very beautiful coloring on its head. so another week went by and i noticed red showing on the sides of its mouth, is this a sign it will be a male? could anyone help me? Thank you for your time

It looks like a boy to me but I have little experience with chickens.

That's definitely a boy. I would call the hatchery so they can reimburse you your money for them sexing incorrectly.

No its fine we planned on males. we ordered 5 males and 20 females. so if there are more than five males tho i will be giving them a call LoL
