Is it typical that two birds are bumping chests and pecking at each other and repeating this behavior? Should we separate them or let them continue? They won't hurt each other will they?

How old are they?
How much space do they have, in feet by feet?
Just the 2 birds, or are there more?
Any chickens can chest bump during an altercation.
As long as there's no blood or pinning down and beating, let them work it out.

Okay. They are 3 or 4 weeks old. There are 13 total chickens in a normal brooder.

How big is 'normal' in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics would help immensely here.
That young and your heating setup plays a part too.......so show the heater in the pics too.
