I think social media has done a number on kids. They are often very bad at face-to-face communication, problem solving that involved team work, and handling criticism. This is based on my experience working with them. They often don’t want to ask for help but when it’s offered they view it as a “micro aggression” (whatever that is). Really it’s just that when you start a new job you don’t know exactly how to do it and have to be taught. And that’s ok. It’s not a personal judgement.

But, again, that is because they shouldn’t be on social media in the first place.
I 100% agree with this as one of the kids. I notice these behaviors in myself all the time, I get mad when I get told what to do but then after fuming for a minute I realize just how stupid it is, I do the same thing to people younger than me, we all have to learn and get corrected but I usually feel attacked in the moment😂.
Face to face communication was already a problem but then quarantine just did a number on my generation at a very crucial point in their development, to this day I feel like an absolute failure after every single social interaction, it's terrible because I am very aware that the world demands so little of me and yet I still struggle.

Anyways, all that to say I think a lot of people my age are aware of the things they get wrong, at least that's the impression I get from 90% of them.

I can't imagine how the iPad kids who were kept home through quarantine at just 3-4 years old are going to continue developing☹️
