I have my first hatch in the incubator, and today is day 3!

The other 18 days are going to be so slow!

But!

The LG I have is 98.6 on the outter edges, and 101.1 in the center. Is it a good/bad/stupid/doesn'treallymatter to put the 3 standard eggs I have where it's warmer, and the bantam eggs where it's cooler? Or should it be the other way around? :x

And I'm amazed at how dry my house is. The humidity is usually around 50% in the incubator, but when I open up to turn them around, it immediately drops to 40, then keeps going to 30.

Hi, What I do is rotate the center eggs to the outside every day or two. I have the best luck when I keep the humidity around 37-40%. Incubators always have cooler pockets of air here and there. I think in the still air bators you can keep the warmest temp at 102 degrees.
