Is this scaly leg mites?

Silkie rooster otherwise healthy. Is this scaly leg mites? Have seen some pictures online but it seems to look a little different? Have started washing with warm water and applying vegetable oil and Vaseline now.

I don't think so....unless those are scaleless legs from a long time SLM infestation.

Can you get some photos of him standing as well front and back? Does he have any issues walking?
 
Here are some more pictures of him. His feet look normal from the front. Can only see the white parts from certain angles.

Thank you for the additional photos. You know, it's really hard to tell if that's SLM on the back of the legs (does he roost or sleep on the floor in bedding) or possibly callouses?
For me, I would work vaseline into the legs twice a week, see if that helps. It won't hurt anything to do that.

If you need to, give his nails a little trim/file now and again so they aren't curving under and don't cut/scratch the hen's backs.
