So should I not to feed my chickens raw oat meal?

I feed my chickens raw oatmeal & they seem to enjoy it. I sprinkle it out as a treat. We've never had any problems from it.

By raw oatmeal, do you mean uncooked? Oatmeal is oats that are rolled, milled, steel ground, etc., but they're 100% oats. Chickens eat whole oats too.

Some of us cook oatmeal for them occasionally, more so in the winter. I've added a little cinnamon to mine, but you can add just about anything they'd like to it.

Here's a list of herbs for chickens and what they may be helpful for. You could try adding any of these or more than one. Not too much I've learned or they may not like it as the warm oatmeal enhances the scent from the herb.
