is this shrink wrapped?? PICS!!

not the best quality pictures, but there is a fully developed chick in there and have a large open area at the top of the egg. and the membrane tightly holds the chick

when i poked it , the chick was rock hard and so was the film, dead as a door knob

How did the shell get off if baby didn't get through the membrane yet?
