Is this something i should be concerned about?

Hello!
I'm very new to having chickens. We just received our baby chicks this morning.
Earlier this evening I checked them all for pasty butt. When I noticed this on one of my
Leghorn's that had a pasty butt. I cleaned and dried and applied olive oil



This weird looking thing underneath the vent. Is that something I should be concerned about?

Hi. I am fairly new to chicks and chickens in general, but that looks like the umbilical cord stump. I read you can use a little alcohol to dry out, but eventually it will fall off.
