I have a rhode island red and she has not layed in 3 month almost to the day my white leghorn is laying mostly every day what's up ?? :

They are about 2 years old

Hi Konjo,

If you are positive about the age, then I am not sure what's going on with your RIR. You say your white leghorn is still laying almost every day? At two years of age, your RIR might slow down a little bit, but not completely stop. Is there anything different going on? Does your RIR still look healthy? Are they getting some good layer feed? Could she be molting? They will stop when they molt. RIRs don't normally go broody, but that's another reason why a hen would stop. Does she sit in the nest box alot?

Just a few things to think about that might help us figure out why she's stopped laying.....

My RIR look fine healthy and eats very good and some time I give her treats and she eats GOOD and nothing has changed and she is not molting. she sits in the nest box only at night time.

Any chance she could have a nest stashed somewhere? They can be sneaky little devils. Also it's possible you have a rat or snake stealing eggs, though it would be strange for them to only get hers....

NOP !!! I looked all over..... They are on the side of the house nice and clean no eggs.

I don't see an signs of broody or molt. I'm really confused as to what is happening 3 months is a long time for not even 1 egg:(.

Sounds like it's time for chicken noodle soup. At least that's what I would do. We don't really let our hens go past a couple of years here.
