Is this the Rooster?

Buff Orpingtons at 5 weeks old.

I have 8 that look like this one so they must be hens.



And 1 that is feathering slower then the other 8 and has a more pronounce and dark comb. So is this one the rooster?

hard to tell from the pics but if i had to guess i would say you found him

I am in no way an expert, but I think you're probably right. My Buff Orpington hens didn't get any pink at all until they got several weeks older than that.

Yep.....that be a boy. Boys get pinker and than redder combs and wattles before the girls ever will. I do find that boys often take longer to feather in with some breeds, especially the tail.

You just confirmed it...his tail feathers are noticeably shorter then the hens...
