I was the one mentioned that it might be the sun or feeding a feed with a high amount of Yellow Corn in it, since it isn't the sun is there a lot of Yellow Corn (Maze) is there in the feed that you are feeding, do you feed Scratch?

I'm not really very familiar with some of the terms.....YP is probably not up to any standard, but HE thinks that he is great.

This young man is a great forager, but he doesn't really have access to much maize (I give them all a bit of mixed poultry corn from time to time).However he eats a lot of grass, as do the others, which I think must be very high in carotenoids as the girls lay eggs with orange yolks. Nothing else about the place is very orange/yellow/red. apart from a few nasturtiums, but they have eaten just about any plant that they like from the garden. The summer has been much too cold to grow squashes or pumpkins.....unfortunately, as I love them.

That's definitely not a Leghorn. Leghorns are slim little chickens and that guy is a powerhouse across the chest.

That's way too much gold in his color to just be from corn in his diet.

Whatever he is, he is gorgeous. It's really a shame, though, when eBay sellers are cheats.
