Still learning my colors. Is this tibetan? And just to clarify, I can't determine the gender without vent-sexing, correct? Cause, I've tried vent-sexing and I haven't figured it out yet

yes either vent sex or wait for crowing/ egg laying... Did you read the sticky at the top of the section here? I believe it covers vent sexing with pix as well. If its a mature hen that has been laying the vent will be quite large...

Gorgeous Tibetan! How old is it? If it's male, it should be crowing by around 4-5 weeks old and, if female, should start laying around 6-7 weeks, depending on the weather where you live

I think its about 12 weeks....I can't remember exactly. It came in my random CL find that was all supposed to be jumbo coturnix. This one is pretty small compared to the browns. I have a few others that are this coloring as well. This one is in a pen of 3 birds that has been my "trouble" pen. I lost one bird a couple weeks ago (that got attacked by the others) and just pulled a second one out that was loosing feathers fast. So I'm down to 3 that are all the dark color and I can't sex them. I'll look at the sticky again, but I did try once with no success. I've got one banded as a male-I've seen him crow. But not sure on the other 2. I think the smallest one in the pen is male, because I've watched the other male picking on him now. But this one doesn't seem to fight with anyone, so I was thinking maybe a girl. Thanks for the help!

It's 100% a Tibetan Fawn (aka Rosetta) because it's lighter with black still in it with the white lace or penciling on it. Cinnamon have no black what so ever.
