Is this true about Buffs Orpingtons?

I once had a Buff Orpington who survived having one of her legs ripped off by a raccoon, and even with only the one leg, was one of only two survivors of a Dingo attack----all the rest of my chickens were killed. She lived a very long time just hopping around on that one leg, and I think Orpingtons are very hardy birds. I agree with other replies that maybe your friend should go elsewhere for chickens.

I do not have BO's but after that comment I do not think I would buy chickens from them.....
That sounds silly.. I wonder what is wrong with their chickens......

Ours eats what they want to. They're kind of picky on the scraps that are thrown out to them. But I've never heard of them having weak stomachs. Sounds like he doesn't like orpingtons to me.

I grow various types of basil and when I trim it back I give the girls the trimmings...so far so good...no problems with any of the breeds including my 5 Buff Orpingtons. Can not say they have a bad digestive system...seem to eat everything I offer with no problems.

I've never had any problems with my buff orps digesting everything and anything. lol They are piggies and love to eat!
