Is this typical for this breed?

I have a store bought Ameraucana. She is almost 2yo. Before winter she laid blue eggs (not every day). She is my only blue egg hen. We are well past the cold months in Florida and each day she will go to the nesting box and sit but no blue eggs. Her vent is not swollen and I have soaked her just in case she’s egg bound. She is not molting. Is this just a behavior for her breed?

(picture is an old one from last year. She is on top. They have plenty of nesting boxes but all have a favorite and pile in it)

Thank you!

They freerange 6-8 hours a day. Their feed is Dumor 16% Layer Pelleted with some Impeckables that have Peas and carrots. I have oyster shells available all the time and occasionally egg shells.
Never heard of Impeckables. Is it fed daily? Do you feed any other treats?

I assume you've checked the free range area to see if she's laying somewhere outside instead?

Otherwise I agree with WingItRanch, it's not a breed thing, might be something hormonal where she's got enough hormones to think about laying but not enough to actually produce eggs. I have a bird that's been lying to me for a year and a half about "laying" but she's just taking credit for other hen's eggs. :D
