Is this vent gleet? Should I treat it?

Definitely keep neosporin on hand - its just generally useful stuff. and the comment about milky discharge does sound like vent gleet.

Grab the bird - one of you is the leader in the flock, it really should be you - grab the bird, warm water, gentle cleaning. Don't be terribly surprised if it "relaxes" in the warm water and discharges a big pile of "stuff". That's actually a good thing, though not pleasant to clean up.

We actually installed an outside shower, with an on demand water heater, so I could get the farm off of me, outside. Its proved incredibly useful. Also good for washing eggs I collect in warm-hot water, cleaning tools, etc.

What's vent fleet?

Basically, an infection in the digestive system, similar to thrush, multiple root causes some bacterial, some not - results in a generally white, milky, sticky leakage from the vent, which matts the feathers down, attracts insects (not in a good way), can result in red, raw, swollen hind ends, and generally makes the backside of the bird a magnet for more problems. In severe cases, can cause reproductive damage and encourage other flock members to peck at the injured bird.

Oof...that isn't good 😕

I have tried bathing her before but she simply doesn’t want to get wet, I will attempt to try again though. Her most recent dropping had a little milkly liquid in it but she had other solid healthy looking droppings earlier.
milky liquid isnt bad i dont think, its just apart of their poo (though i dont know how bad it was) if she doesnt want to get wet, hold her and comfort her and just wet her bumm with slight warm water
