Is this Vent Gleet?

Thank you for the suggestion with the xray. Praying my sweet Lucy will come home with me tomorrow!

She is only about 15 mos old and has still been laying everyday even since the time change! Acts totally normal. She has been my problem child tho! She is the one with the poopy butt often so I have had to trim her and bathe her often. I did find a vet in my area who see's chickens so she is going to see him tomorrow morning! I can keep ya'll posted if anyone is curious.
Some heavy production breeds do seem to have a bit more of a poopy butt, likely over time they lose a bit of muscle retention.

At 15months, hopefully she go into molt and take a break.

See that she's eating her normal feed, it wouldn't hurt to give some probiotics to see if that helps with the poopy butt and if you are going to the vet, have them run a fecal float to see if she needs deworming.

Let us know how the visit goes.

So I am happy to say my hen will be fine. I am quite embarrassed that I have to say I have a lice infestation. Thanks everyone who helped give me advice. I love that there is a forum to go to with such knowledgeable people to help us newbies!

For lice give your birds a good dusting with a Permethrin based poultry dust. You can find this at stores like TSC.
I put the dust in a sock, then tap it all over the bird like a powder puff, working the dust down through the feathers to the skin. Store the sock in a labeled jar with a tight fitting lid.

It wouldn't hurt to pick up some Permethrin spray and give your coop a good spray as well. Focus on nooks/crannies, roosting bars, nesting boxes, etc. Lice mainly live on the bird(s) but can sometimes transfer around in the housing as well.

For an infestation (you are seeing lice on the birds), repeat treatment of birds and housing in 5-7 day periods to break the cycle.

I purchased Elector PSP because I have seen from many Chicken Youtube sites that it is a one and done product. It was rather pricey but I am going on vacation in a week and I want this eradicated. Do you have any opinions on this product? I also put Food Grade DE in their dust bath I have been using Lime instead but maybe DE is better.

I've heard Elector PSP works well but I have not used it.

I've never used DE or Lime either.
