Is this vent prolapse or something else?

This is Kanapki. She has been on and off pulling feathers or pecking under her tail for months now. She doesn't have lice or mites. Often now I'll see her vent/ under tail area covered in blood and I think what's happening is she is pecking there and making it bleed, and my bully of a Sapphire Gem is coming along and pecking at the blood, making it worse. I have to keep her in the garage and cover it with veterycn and then blukote, but blukote doesn't work for more than a day. I dont think she's laid an egg in a long time. I have this video and a picture. The vent area is the size of a large marble and moving constantly. Is this vent prolapse snd what should I do?

There are a lot of damage feathers back there. Are you sure she's the one doing that? It's usually a different chicken(s). If it's her, you'll have to get or make a plastic cone for her head so she can't reach back there. I'd also keep her away from the flock for at least a few days, then trade and put her back and take out any you see picking on her.

What do you feed them, and do they get oyster shell on the side? It could be she's having a reproductive issue since she's not laying and might have something stuck.

I would give her 300 mg Calcium Citrate +D per day for a few days, up to a week. One per day, whole, placed in her beak.

If you're absolutely sure she doesn't have mites or lice, have you ever wormed them? I'm just wondering if she actually IS the one doing that, then why, unless there is an egg or part thereof stuck in there but that'd be a long time to go in that condition without it probably causing death.

Maybe someone else will be able to say if that's a prolapse or not but I don't see it. Regardless, keep it moist with some vaseline or something along those lines. I've used a generic Prep H as well on a bad prolapse for a chick that worked.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, she is definitely the one pulling the feathers and causing bleeding. Then the others go in and peck some more. The vent is constantly moving and yet there is no tissue I see sticking out. The vent is a raised bump though and inside I see this tissue with an opening on it....is this prolapse? Otherwise, she is eating and drinking and moving around pretty well.

I don't think so. I only know a prolapse to be if it's protruding out of their vent. Let's see if @Eggcessive or @Wyorp Rock can take a look.

I'd definitely get that calcium I mentioned above going for her though.
