Is this what shrink wrapped looks like?

I had 1 egg that was alive at lockdown. It is now the end of Day 22 and no pips. I candled it late yesterday and today. Did not detect movement either day so I did an eggtopsy. I went in through the air cell with a nail. I think the hole in the center is from me.

Here are a few additional pictures. The chick looks fairly well developed but did not absorb the yolk all the way.

Not sure what happened or why it died.... But it didn't look like it had much room in there to turn.
 
Anyone have an opinion on this? One of my observations is that the veins are still red and not black. Is that normal? But the chick was definitely not moving and had passed before I opened the egg.... Maybe recently passed?

What do you do with your dead chicks?
 
Yes that is a shrink wrapped chick had a few of those last year. You need more moisture to keep that from happening again.
