The Old Folks Home

Good morning! Warming up here with sunshine. I have to deal with a bunch of garlic today. I'll break up the bulbs, slice it and put it in the dehydrator. Time consuming but worth the effort of having it stored and not worry about it going bad. BBL
I love and adore garlic!

6 dehydrator trays full of sliced garlic cloves. It usually takes 8 to 12 hours to completely dry. I will test it before I go to bed. The house smells like a pizza place. There were 8 bulbs that made about 60 cloves. I still have 8 bulbs in the bin.

They made my mum wait till she was over 65 before they would give her her 1st knee surgery. That was so it would last a lifetime.
Aussie medical thinking in the '90s
She had both done a couple of years apart, went well as she followed the exercise directions. But failed to last a lifetime as she is in her 90s and had to have a minor rejig operation on each in her mid 80s
Those ops also went well as she again followed exercise instructions.
The operations and their success rate increases as they become more common.

For anyone who has had a joint replacement, or actually any surgery, here is an odd question.

If a certain doctor/surgeon is assigned (or however it's termed) your case, and you DO NOT WANT THAT #$%$#@ to ever set foot in a medical room with you, much less touch your body again, can you demand to have a different doctor?
