Thank you. I don't have any surgeries in the future (that I know of), but this particular doctor will never touch me again.You might want to make that clear and in writing when you are checking into the hospital.
If it isn't in writing, then they can always say someone didn't know... and once you are out on the table, they might bring the bad guy in.
So make sure it is clearly stated and put into your file when you check in.
I didn't say anything about it at the time. (Sitting so close beside me our legs were touching, and then sliding his hand up my thigh? Clearly not "incidental" or "inadvertent.") But it happened more than once.
I had a broken wrist. He had my hand in his. I was afraid if I said something or tried to move away, he would "accidentally" jerk my hand.
On my last appointment, he was holding my hand and seeing how far I could bend my wrist. He went a little far, and I said, "Ouch." He gave me a dirty look and flexed it a little farther.
As I said, he will never touch me again. I don't care if he is well respected in his field.
