Is this when chicks get there adult feathers and loose there fuzz?

Is this when chicks loose there fuzz and get there well pullet feathers i was just wondering?

Yes. The fuzz gets "loose", I guess, but in any case, they lose their fuzz and the feather start appearing.

Maybe it's just me, but I find this stage their very ugliest!!! They get prettier later on.

im dieng to get some asorted feathered legged bantams at farmers co-op you know just a couple and then.........a few more welll where at a odd number whe have to get atleast 5 more to make even.

THere's always one or two that get bald patches, that make them look even lovelier.
