Dominique was ok yesterday. We found her in a nesting box last night but it's the coldest it's been, ever, for her and the box is near a panel heater so left her. This morning she was still there and unable to hold her neck properly.
She is good weight and bright red comb still.
They eat a layer feed with some treats (scratch, mealworms and some food scraps). They have had hay to scratch around in twice in the last week. They free range from 7:30 til roosting time. She was able to get herself up inside the coop, which is elevated, and jump into a nest box yesterday evening.
I am interested in the most humane option for her. I can keep her inside and I am happy to take the time to help her. I am home 90% of the day. But.....
She is currently inside but won't take cooked scrambled egg from my hand.
Thoughts?
