Is this wry neck?.

1 yr old Easter egger twisting neck around. Is this wry neck? She doesn’t appear to have any injuries. The only hen in the flock with it.

What other symptoms are you seeing? You've brought her inside for a reason I assume.
Lice/mites?
Crop emptying?
Stumbling/not able to walk?
Lethargy?
Injury?
Not laying eggs?

Standard treatment for Wry Neck (which is a symptom) is 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4-1/2 tablet B-Complex. Give a little egg or tuna to help with the uptake of E.

You can find human vitamins E and B-Complex in the vitamin aisle of Walmart, CVS, etc.
Just pop the pills into her beak one at a time and let her swallow them.

Have been isolating and supplementing for wry neck..sleps with neck flat

I too think my girl might have wry neck. I have tried everything else at first I thought it was sour crop so I treated with nystatin oral he 14 days two times per day. I also did safeguard wormer. How do you get the sliver of b complex into her. E comes in drops I presume? Does b complex? Can I syringe it?

Symptoms for almost 4 weeks now. Standing alone. Moving big like a sour taste in mouth./sort of smacking lip movement. It’s very little and only certain things. Lost tons of weight. Not roosting sleeping on the floor in parenting to or in nest box. She has been quarantined for four weeks in a separate small quarantine coop that I have. When I let her out to free range with the others, they really attack her so she only comes out herself right now. I have enclosed pictures here of poop as well as poop on, butt.

Can I just put the drops in her beak? It is iffy whether she will eat eggs or tuna. Sometimes she does sometimes she doesn’t. The only thing I see her consistently eat is corn on the cob. Which I only gave her in desperation to help her eat.

Vitamin E capsules and b complex tablets from the grocery store. Just pull down her wattles and pop it into her mouth.
It might come in drops, it depends what your store has.

@nuthatched Can I give my chick with wry neck Vitamin E capsules and Vitamin B capsules? Should I break the capsules open and put them in a syringe, and push the liquid in the syringe into her beak?
