I think LizzzyJo was referring to which pullet was to be sexed, but ultimately theyre both looking like pullets so it doesn't much matter which one!

We were about to get rid of it until it rained and we noticed our sheep like drinking out of it better than what we were using haha! And the chickens love it too. Win win! Haha

I'd imagine they like it because they can perch on it! My girls tend to drink out if my horse buckets more than their own waterer because they can perch.

I was asking about the one behind the one with the single comb. I’ve always thought the one with the single comb is a hen but the one behind her had very red comb and wattles so I always thought it was a roo. But everyone agrees she’s a hen! Which makes me happy!

One of my SLW chicks reddened up early and had bad lacing that made it seem as if she might have the white shoulders of a male too. But it turned out that she was definitely a pullet based on her saddle feathers at the appropriate time.

At twenty weeks,.. with a comb that pale I would say it was pullet.
