I am wondering. One of the 5 hens, I don't know which yet, has had watery poop for a couple days. However, nothing else seems to be amiss, I watched them all eat today, forage when they were free ranging, run around like nuts and generally they all acted and behaved very healthy.
There has been watery poop for a couple of days though that I have noticed. No other symptoms from anyone and so is it a major issue? I want to figure out who it is but I don't really know how although I have my suspicions. My biggest fear is that someone isn't getting enough to eat but once again I can't figure out who...Soooo do I let it go for a little while? Do I do something proactively to figure it out. Should I be concerned...
For more info, I know that will be the first question...
They hens (5 of them) are about 11-12 weeks old. We have had them for about 2.
All were fully vaxxed before we got them.
They are on the appropriate feed (grower)...It is clean, no mold etc.
Their water is changed every couple of days, 3 at most, and I make sure it is clean every day.
They can free range but we are outside to supervise when they do...no poisons they could have gotten into I believe.
No one is droopy/moping around.
They all went crazy when we did worm treats today.
They all appear to be of healthy weight/size when I pick them up.
No worms in any of the poop and trust me I spent a fair time looking today.
ETA that when I say watery I mean WATERY..Like it is mostly water with a little bit of "solids" in the middle. I noticed it first on the droppings board this way.
Sooo do I worry or do I relax? You tell me!
