ISA Brown - help with sex

The wing shape and look does not actually matter much. After doing a little reseach I can confirm that they are all girls. They are red and have clear defined stripes in their baby pictures. That signifies that they are females. If they were cockerels then their down would be completely white.

I think they're pullets.

a) They have gold/brown down, not white/yellow. Having distinct colors at hatch is the most improtant thing for a sexlink. So when there is doubt, I would trust the baby down color, not the first feathers.

b) They are getting brown tufts in the shoulder area (by the human thumb in the "wing" shots.) They will soon have a lot more brown feathers :)
