I have 5 Isa Brown pullets that were a day old April 1st 2009. I found one in the nesting box a week ago acting like she was going to lay. All of there cones and wattles are bright red and shinny and my rooster is doing his business with them. Well I went in there after seeing the one in there, after she came out and I had an egg. Now today I got two the same size and color so I think two of them are laying. Aren't they to young to lay. The one pullet has laid everyday now for a week. The eggs are small, but I know they will get bigger. But I thought wow that is young.
