HI 1 of our ISA browns has really runny poo and has it running down her feathers on the butt, What could be wrong?
there getting feed this pellet http://www.lauckemills.com.au/poultryfood1.html and there also feed http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl= … s%3Disch:1

I also gave them the 20kg bag of vetafarm south american mix pellets as my parrots wouldn't eat it http://www.vetafarm.com.au/products/SOUTH-AMERICAN-MIX-2Kg.html ingredients etc all in the links. They get a mixture of all 3 feeds each day. They also get scraps eg bread, potatoe peelings, carrot peelings, pumpkin peelings etc what ever they can eat. if on hand or when we cook.

I'm not exactly sure how long she has had runny poo for but i have noticed the runny poo on her butt feathers for a few days.

Could she have some kind of parasite? The best thing might be to collect a sample and take it to your vet for analysis. The poo on chooks will sometimes be runny but they should also have some that are more solid. If it continues for very long, I'd suspect something else is going on. Is she laying normally?

You should try buying chicken feed. It is well balanced nutritionally. It could also be all the supplements your chickens are getting. My chickens got runny poo from the grapes I picked off of the vine and feed them. good luck
