ISA BROWN / TSC QUESTIONS

I had a “bin” mistake. I wanted a orphington. What they gave me was a Sexlink (red). She’s awesome! Terrific Layer. I just got lucky. I know they worrie about contamination with chicks (they should). But if I was you I’d be leaning over that guy’s shoulders going nope....not that one ...really I would!

My girls are, ISA Browns, mail ordered from TSC. I ordered 10, got 12, lost 1, and probably could have saved it (now that I'm more experienced, and stuff learned from BYC). Way more birds than I need, lesson learned, I could have purchased directly from TSC store, and if you catch them on clearance .25 each (probably depends on store). 4 birds would probably have been best for my wife and I. We love them, great birds, a little flighty (but we blame their older sister, a bantam, that came with the house for that, she never really warmed up to us), prolific layers.
