I purchased 11- 17 week old ISA Brown hens
400
and one doesn't have any tail. I've never seen this before. Anyone have a clue as to what it is? Really an ISA brown or something else

They could have gotten pecked out. Or it's a rooster with the slow feathering gene. Their tails tend to come in way slower than the rest of the feathers. The reason I'm bringing up roosters is that for about 3 months old, that 'pullet' has a pretty big comb. Could you get some better pictures of it's face and back? I want to see if it's a rooster. Now I'm intrigued lol.
