Isabella Ameraucana x Black Ameraucana??

Hey everyone, if I mix an Isabella Ameraucana with a black Ameraucana, What is that going to give me?

I want to work on a Easter egger project that will eventually look lavender / Isabella.

Will this give me black birds split to lavender wheaten?? Will it give me black birds that could be split to lavender, and then other ones that are split to Wheaten?

Yes, I believe so. Though I haven't researched wheaten much, so perhaps someone who knows more about it's inheritance can chime in.

When you breed the split birds from that original cross, that's when you could get offspring that are expressing or split to only one, both, or neither of those genes. The possible outcomes depend on what you breed them to.
