Isn't it ridiculous how we all dote upon our chickies? I swear, next time we get a new shipment of chicks, I'm going to keep one of those baby scrapbooks:

Baby's first day out! Ate some worms!
Baby's first word! Peep!
Baby's first egg! Good girl!
Baby's first crow! Good boy!
A lock of baby's hair! isn't that a pretty feather!

(I'm sure I spelled ridiculous completely wrong.)

LOL, Cute !!! Yes, it is very funny how we awww over everything our chicks do.... I then wonder why my hubby thinks im a "crazy chicken lady"

Ridiculous? My dear, it's perfectly understandable. Only people who have never held a squawking, fluffy baby chick would think it odd.

And how neat is it that something so simple can gladden our hearts to that degree.

Gosh, I love my chickens SO MUCH! They are so funny, and have personalities that crack me up. My RIR chick, Annie is a camera ham.

This is why i was reduced to tears when hubby said the coop i have put up can only have 6 chickens even though it's big....big fight...now i can have "as many as you need sweetie" (WHOOOOHOOOOOOO!)

Plus i'm working on getting call ducks too...they have feathers so that should work too right
