I have 50 hens that have completely stopped laying. Nothing for a week now. And I have noticed more and more feathers in the coop. I do have to let you know that I am in Florida and we got 14 inches of rain of the past 8 days. The girls are dry and safe but could they just be stressed and holding out or could it be molt?? They are all just now 1 year old. They laid great throughout the winter.
Thanks for the advice in advance!

Mine molt all during the year. I have some very bare headed and bared necked ladies right now. Some are done, some are in the middle of the uglies. That said, usually that many do not stop laying all at once, especially this time of year. Even my molting girls are laying some.

I have nothing not 1 egg. The weather has been terrible here. That is the only difference in their routine.
Its weird because I have 2 seperate coops with 25 each in them and neither pen has had a single egg in over 1 week.

I'm in FL also and a couple of mine are doing the same, of course 1 of them keeps trying to be broody at the same time so that isn't helping any.

I wouldn't worry to much, hopefully after this weather gets straight things will get back to normal.
