Hi I would like so find some with in a couple hr drive in I'm Vinton county Ohio but I'm willing to pay for shipping I want snowy or black but I'm open I have a male of each would love to females of one or one of each let me know what u have don't be afraid to ask please thanks

I have an Incubator but I wanted to try higher humidity with chickens before I tried call ducks Iv read there harder and iv had problems with chickens getting out of there eggs so to answer you ducks or ducklings I'd want most what do u have

Following this post! I am looking for eggs or ducklings. My second batch has not gone as well as I had hoped. Placed them in the incubator Saturday and only 6 out of 12 seemed to even be fertile :(

Calls can be a little harder to hatch because of their short necks and short bills. They sometimes have trouble zipping, and need assistance. This usually depends on the line the come from, the stubby more true-to-type ones are the most difficult.

I have a group of 6 calls currently (hatched 12, ended up with too many drakes). I've incubated my girls eggs a few times and sold the ducklings. They are currently not laying, but should start back soon. I'd be happy to help you any way i can.

You’re awesome! Thanks so much. My first batch back in July I had a 60% hatch rate. Ended up keeping only a male and female from the group. They’ve become my favorite on our farm and would love more variety. I’ll keep in touch with come spring time! Thanks again!

Awesome. Whereabouts are you located? I'm in northwest WV, on the Ohio border.
I have 3 females (blue fawn, grey, and silver) and 3 drakes (blue fawn, silver, and white). They kinda have their mates, but are still all together, so I'm sure each male still occasionally mates each female. So i could get some pretty varied offspring.

I love these little guys too. I have to try real hard to not let myself get overloaded with them. They are so adorable.

I’m in North Carolina. southeast part closer to South Carolina. Would you be able to ship?
I know i have the same problem of trying not to go overboard! my husband says I'm forbidden to have too many more.....lol.

I do ship eggs, although I haven't shipped Call eggs yet.

There are also Auctions, buy/sell/trade threads, contests, games, etc. for hatching eggs. Those will pick up more in the next few weeks.

This thread usually has quick auctions - some go fairly cheap when folks have excess eggs, or a customer backed out, or such. Its a good place to get some good deals. :)

This is the "chat" thread for that 24-hour auction thread. Folks will occasionally ask for certain breeds, or feel out if anyone might be interested in certain breeds, before doing a full auction.

Also check your State and neighboring State threads. Some folks will post when they have excess birds/eggs/etc.
