Ok, great advice. Boy do I appreciate it! I will move part or all of my coop into the garage and get them started in there. And maybe get one of those heating lamps too. Again-I really appreciate your advice, and others here too.

Well lookie here! I picked up 8 quail this morning at "about 5 weeks," per the breeder. Here are a few pics.

I sure am birdmanmax. I'm surprised by the early egg! But the breeder did tell me that she thought maybe one of these birds already started. She claimed them to be "about 5 weeks old" but maybe they're older than that.
