hi there,
I’m looking for French Black Copper Marans pullets. Looking to buy from an NPIP certified breeder who has birds with lines from either Bev Davis, Wade Jean, and/or Greenfire farms or a combo of these. I’m essentially looking for quality egg color. I’d like a hen that lays very dark eggs (6-7 on the chart) to add to my flock.
I was going to buy a welsummer from the Alchemist but I don’t want to spend so much on a chick that might end up as a rooster. I’m looking for a welsummer that lays eggs similar to the speckled eggs that come from the Alchemists welsummer.
I currently have 1.5 month old chicks and would like to add pullets around that age. However, I understand that that might make it difficult to sex the birds, so I’m okay with getting an older pullet (2-3 months).
I’m looking for 2 pullets, one of each breed. If you have any please let me know!
