ISO How to Draw a Chicken Step by Step

I LOVE the art I see everyone post on this site. I'm awed by the detail and the color I see in your pieces. Often I feel like the step by steps I find online are like the image below. I saw there were some art classes on art threads back in 2012 but I can't seem to find any recent ones. Are there any?

If not, can some of our great community artists post a series of steps on how to draw a chicken complete with that beautiful detailed feathering that makes it come to life?

I did notice there are a lot of articles and threads on taking good pictures. I love that, but don't have a good camera and I already have the supplies for drawing (pencil and paper)

Drawing at that level takes lots of practice and time from start to finish (speaking from an art major’s perspective ). But I totally know what you mean . I‘ve never taken the time to draw a detailed images of my chicken, I just have these :
