I just keep mine in double rabbit runs on shavings. They seem to do ok. I have a run on the grass for them aswell.

I got them from eBay! 40 pounds for both of them.

I built mine starting with a metal shelf, some 1" / 1/2" wire, and built-in rubbermades for dirt baths. Total cost around $120.

Here's one of mine. I usually raise mine on the ground but these I decided to put on wire.

Under construction: 2 x 2 for structure. 2 x 4 for base. 1" x 1/2" welded wire. 1/2" hardware cloth floor.
Oil base paint 2 coats over Thompson Water Seal. Metal roof.

Nice setup! I like the wire as you don't have to clean them out so often. Do you have to protect them more from draughts though?

I'm in South Central Texas, for us, cold is freezing 30°F. This winter it got down to 24°F and we had snow this year. No, I didn't put anything around the pen to keep the wind off them but I did put hay in the pen for a little protection from the wind. This pen about 5' to the floor from the ground. It's 8' in length, divided into 2 sides, so it's 4' x 3' by 16" high each half.
