I'm hoping to be able to find some silkies locally, instead of ordering online. Bearded and white preferred, but I'm open to pretty much any color (especially if they're all different!). No frizzles or naked necks, please.
I'm in northern Illinois near Rockford, so really anywhere in northern IL, southern WI, or eastern IA.
I currently have 10 standard size chickens (8 diff. breeds) who enjoy their spacious coop and run, with frequent access to the full backyard.
