ISO Valley Quail, Willing to pay good and shipping

Here is a pic of two of my California quail these were taken after the second batch hatched and the first were maybe 4-6 weeks old or so?! They take longer to mature than coturnix. I don’t have a current photo of a female on my phone but I can get one later when I feed them not a proble though like I said they are skittish!!!

Hello :)

I found this info for us! It is all about shipping a live chicken/bird through USPS though I’m not sure how much it would cost I didn’t see a price here.

So let me know if this is something you want to do and we can exchange private messages or email I don’t know if that is allowed on the forums? I don’t want to break any rules!

how much do you charge

I’ve honestly no idea what 1 hen sells for. I’ve seen “pairs” for $100 but that is all. I couldn’t afford a pair when I was looking so I bought eggs to hatch, you sure you don’t want to buy from eBay a dozen eggs? It’s not that much and you can hatch your own you are going to get at least one little girl...? You could sell the others? Likely to get at least a 50% hatch which if all eggs make it leaves you with just the 6 or so birds.

I don’t mind doing it I just don’t know what to charge and I personally think hatching is easier. But I really don’t mind parting with one, as I have enough, and I have 3 boys and 8 girls so...

I could also clip flight feathers before shipping.

I’ve never shipped anything except eggs lol I’m nervous! Haha so silly right?
