Isolated Pullet immediately did the egg song

I just had to isolate a 4 month old mystic marans. Almost as soon as she was in the kennel, she did what I think of as "the egg song" and our rooster sang along. She's not laying yet. Is there a distress song that sounds just like it?

Yes, there is. I can't tell them apart when my chickens sing them.

Yes there's an alarm call that sounds very similar to the egg song, so if I hear a lot of birds suddenly singing I take a look out the window, as there may be a predator around.
