Hi !! I have an already egg laying chicken and this morning when I went to go let them out I noticed some small blood and I checked all the chickens. I found just one of my Issa browns had blood all over her butt. So I took her inside and gave her a bath and blow dried her out. I keep her isolated for a little bit and she was eating and drinking. I examined her poop for about 8 hours now and no more blood. I did notice these weird seed looking things in her healthy otherwise looking poop (images attached)
She doesn’t have access to any plants near her coup that are poisonous or anything. All my chickens free range and are grain feed organic.
I’m worried it made be cocci or could be something as simple as an intestinal lining bleed.
No other chickens have symptoms or issues.
Any advice would be great because I have only owned chickens for about a year now!!
Thank you
