issues with farm innovation 4200

Candeled the unhatched eggs and most had almost no aircell is this do to high humidity or low. I think my hygromitor was 10 degrees low than actual only had it on the right side.

Small air cell is an indication of high humidity, if 7 days of incubation have been achieved.

Before 7 days, air cells are normally small, from the size of a dime to the size of a quarter and not usually more than 1/4" deep.

Where theres such a difference between the sides im thinking the fan must not be spreading the humidity around evenly, or something like that. I put a digital hygrometer in mine and it reads the same as the gauge on the incubator, so i dont know. After getting some advice on here ive decided im not going to add any more water to the channels until lockdown to try to get the air cells bigger on my bantams, hopefully it works.. ill let ya know how it goes, i go on lockout tuesday, chicks by friday hopefully

I have the same one and noticed a little after week one that from the right side front corner to half way back was 3-4 degrees cooler so I moved all my eggs to an L formation going away from that side. All in all I'm happy with my hatch but im really thinking about taking this thing back between the hydrometer/thermometer being completely off and the uneven temps. I emailed FI and they never replied...

Well temps don't seem to be the problem with mine witch would correlate with my hatch problems of the chicks being to big witch would point to humidity to high. Have been running it empty 24 hours now and seems steady temps can anybody recommend a good digital hygromitor
