Good afternoon; i have an auto feeder i built ; app 5’ wide and holds 100 lbs feed. 9 birds can stand beside each other. I have 15 birds been eating from it for approximately one year.

I also have some (3) 5-6 month old birds who just came out of brooding pen to incorporate with the rest of flock. The integration did good as they were not bullied and over the course of last month i let them hang out with the adults some with my supervision. So the other nite i added them to big roost. It has now been 3 days and i dont think they have gone to the feeder or waterer yet. They just hang by the roost house or around that side of yard.

here in lies the problem. I added there feed bowl from brooder. Of course they attacked it. Well that in turn pissed off the adults who come running to see this new feeder. The adults run off the teenagers who are again scared to come from the roost house. What do i do ? Id rather not rebrood them as i need that run soon for hatchlings.

You need to put out a second, maybe a third feeder and waterer.

Place them far enough apart from each other so that the older group can't bully the young ones from all of the feeders.
Also clutter to break line of sight between feeders can help. With young birds I sometimes go vertical with feed and water bowls as well, as older birds may be a bit lazier in putting in extra effort for food.
