Hi there. I have a 4 week old chick that I recently had to separate due to some bullying issues (she was the bully.) I've now moved her back into the brooder but she hasn't been the same - eats when I bring the food to her, but stands in a corner under the heating lamp with puffed wings, continuously chirping. Puffing doesn't seem to go down and she sleeps more often than the others. Should I be concerned? They're on starter feed with ACV in water.

Quote: You are welcome! I have always seen great improvement within 24 hours of starting Corid. Do make sure the little one drinks some of the medicated water (even if you have to dribble some alongside the beak with a syringe no needle every hour or so).

If no improvement within 24 hours is noted, please do be concerned. There are 9 strains of cocci and of course other things like bacterial infections.

Oh- and I would not put vinegar in the water at the same time.
