Both are almost 5 weeks old. The small one is always under the heat lamp. I have seen her eat and drink.
At some point I want to get them outside with minimal heat.
I had a slow starter last time. But I would not be able to point her out now. This one seem to be ridiculously behind.
She does seem to struggle a bit. Her mouth is sometimes open like she is panting and seems a bit slow, though not bad.
I want to keep her but I need to get them outside and she might freeze to death. I would prefer not to leave her in the brooder and reintroduce her later on as that does not always go smoothly.
I assume this is somewhat common. Is she likely to develop normally? I would not breed her.
